Founded in February 2016 by Gino Desautels and Jean Claude Caissie, EyeNation™ is an innovative organization dedicated to social transformation through technology. February 2016
Me Normand Tamaro, Doctor of Law and expert in intellectual property, joins the organization as a shareholder to legally protect our innovative technological concept. Interview with Me Normand Tamaro on EyeNation™’s YouTube channel.
April 2016
Thanks to public and private investments, notably from the MRC des Sources, SADC (Community Futures Development Corporation), and Investissement Québec, EyeNation™ develops an interoperable Video Management Center (VMC) enabling real-time streaming from various devices on a unified platform.
October 2017
Partnership with Drone Action 360 to enable remote transmission of images captured by commercial and industrial drones.
July 2018
Launch of the mobile application EyeTask, turning mobile phones into BodyCam-type body-worn and DashCam-type embedded cameras, aimed at emergency services and protection agencies.
September 2018
Deployment of the EyeStaff web platform that allows management of over 50 features of the Video Management Center (VMC).
April 2019
Deployment of a platform for viewing emergency video calls, which in 2020 became an international multilingual solution under the name 112.VIDEO.
July 2019
Launch of a software for creating authentication certificates for video evidence, including metadata, to allow legal submission.
October 2019
Collaboration with the University of Sherbrooke and the Canadian Army Reserve to supervise an emergency simulation using body cameras and drones, improving coordination and service interoperability. Aerial supervision of the military simulation at the University of Sherbrooke on EyeNation™’s YouTube channel.
November 2019
Presentation of our technologies to the Minister of Public Security at the Civil Security Congress. Start of collaboration with 9-1-1 services.
January 2020
Joint efforts with ministries and women’s shelters to combat domestic violence through technological tools.
February 2020
Launch of a self-protection app dedicated to at-risk individuals such as victims of domestic violence, racism, bullying, abuse, homophobia, and more.

Successful technical tests with the Ministry of Public Security and emergency centers from shelters. Launch of the “In Real Time” pilot project.

Renewed collaboration with Drone Action 360 and EyeNation™ for aerial supervision operations for a major Tactical Intervention Group (GTI) in Quebec.

Deployment of the Robine self-protection mobile application. Launch of the pilot project for protecting high-risk individuals with Centrale d’Alarme Bromont. Marketing activities begin for the Canadian launch. Website of the Robine mobile app.

Resumption of activities thanks to a new round of funding and organizational restructuring. Establishment of a new development team in Montreal.
November 2023
The Quebec government recognizes Robine™ as a reimbursable solution under the LAPVIC law (art. 5, para. 3 et art. 92, para. 3) thus confirming its role in protection and emergency measures to ensure the safety of victims.
December 2024
The Robine app protects more than 100 victims of violence in Quebec.
March 2025
Our certified-authentic video evidence has been admitted in court cases at both the Superior Court and the Court of Quebec. Our certified evidence submitted to the court (DPCP/DPJ) has enabled:

A viewing platform dedicated to public emergency services composed of police officers, firefighters, ambulance attendants and emergency doctors that allows for faster action due to real-time information gathering during a simultaneous video and telephone call to the 9 -1-1 or 1-1-2 (Europe). We offer live viewing of videos captured from any type of device: Smart Phones, BodyCams, DashCams, Drones and Surveillance Cameras.

SERVICES FOR businesses and organizations

EyeNation consists of a set of services and products (software) to meet the security needs of the Monitoring Centers. We offer solutions for public and private institutions dealing with issues such as: Racism, bullying, sexual misconduct at work, in sports environment or in schools, risky visits by real estate agents and investigators, false allegations without evidence and intimidation of public figures.

We want to offer these monitoring centers tools to better manage emergency situations such as minor or major offenses committed: theft, violence, fire and other events that may occur.
